Reggie Benoit holds successful fundraiser for the Mi'kmaq Community at the Gypsies Roadhouse in De Grau

The Gypsies Roadhouse in De Grau held a fundraiser on Saturday night, August 21st, 2004. Local Mi'kmaw Reg Benoit, well known country singer flew down from Linsdey, Ontario, gave a concert in aid of the local Mi'kmaq community.

A total of $322.00 was raised at the door. The winner of the door prize of a buffalo bone neck choker was Evelyn Campbell. The winner of the belt and buckle was Amanda Felix.

Many thanks to Gypsies Roadhouse management and staff, as well as Reggie Benoit, Vi Campbell, band players, Felicia and Damien Benoit who worked at the door and to Conrad Benoit who looked after the tickets.

The event went very well and was enjoyed by all who attended.
